While David Tanner was away, Chase Crispin filled in as the host of Main Menu for this week's show. This week, we begin by airing the first half of a two part panel discussion all about note takers as a conclusion to the last few weeks of demos. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each of the devices that we have been demoing, how these devices are used in the daily lives of the panel participants, and why these specialized devices are still needed for some people. We also point out some of the large weaknesses in the current generation of note taking products. This is something that many of you have suggested since our first panel discussion last August, and we are pleased to finally bring you this discussion. After the end of the first half of the discussion, David Woodbridge from Vision Australia shows us how to use the new iMessage beta application from Apple on any Mac running OS 10.7.2 Lion or later.
